Why should I become a member of the NZEIPS?
Becoming a member of the society is free to join and is an easy process on the website (join here). Becoming a member will help to show that you are interested in early intervention in psychosis and will help us to build our NZ community of practice. Membership is open to anyone with an interest in first episode/early intervention in psychosis. Largely we are a society that brings together EIP teams and practitioners working in the field, but membership is also made up of people with lived experience and relatives of people affected by psychosis.
What will happen if I become a member?
As a member we will keep your name, email address, place of work (if a practitioner in a field of mental health), and reason for joining the society. This will be stored on our website cloud, but will not be passed onto anyone else, and will not be publicly viewable.
You will receive occasional updates from the NZEIPS, informing you of new developments, useful resources, project updates, and news about upcoming events such as the two-yearly NZ EIP training forum. We promise not to spam you with too many emails, but you can always manage your subscriber preferences here on the website and opt out of email communications.
Member benefits
As a member you will be the first to hear about issues and events of particular relevance to the NZ EIP field. You will also have access to the Members’ area of the website, which will enable you to access further links and resources relevant to EIP.
As a member you will also be able to view and participate in the members’ online forum, which is an opportunity to post questions, resources, and interact with other interesting EIP folk across the country.
